When I was barely one year old, my family went on a road trip from Ohio to Mississippi. I never stopped traveling. Since that first trip, I have scaled the narrow steps of Angkor Wat, meandered through old Jerusalem, scrunched across a New Zealand glacier, inhaled the wild thyme on Greek mountains, shared a dusty road with mules in Mata Ortiz, Mexico, glided over a Venice canal, and swayed with a midnight crowd at an Easter paseo in Seville.

Some travel topics I have shared with readers include Cajun culture, music and food; the history of the early United States in Jamestown; hotels in Richmond Virginia, New York City and New Orleans; artists in southern Arizona; and custom tours for music lovers.
